Proxy Growth Regulator is a professional-use plant growth regulator designed to suppress Poa annua and white clover seedheads while regulating growth of cool-season turfgrasses. Powered by 21.7% ethephon, Proxy works by altering plant growth processes to reduce vertical growth and seedhead formation—resulting in improved turf quality, reduced mowing, and enhanced playability.
Unlike many PGRs, Proxy delivers smooth regulation without turf shock or rebound growth surges. It promotes denser, tighter turf while improving durability in high-maintenance areas such as golf course greens, tees, and fairways. With a rainfast window of approximately 2 hours, applications remain effective even under unpredictable weather conditions.
Ideal for golf courses, sports turf, and commercial turf management, Proxy is a key tool for improving turf uniformity and reducing labor inputs across the season.
