Tide Paclo 2SC Plant Growth Regulator
Tide Paclo 2SC is a systemic plant growth regulator containing paclobutrazol for managing vegetative growth in non-residential turfgrass, trees, shrubs, vines, and landscape plants. It slows vertical growth by inhibiting gibberellin biosynthesis, helping reduce mowing or pruning needs while improving turf density, greening, and overall plant appearance. The label lists use on golf course turf, athletic fields, commercial and industrial areas, parks, boulevards, trees, shrubs, vines, and other non-crop landscape settings. It is not labeled for residential lawns. Tide Paclo 2SC may be used as a cost-effective generic alternative to Trimmit for turf growth regulation and Poa annua suppression programs. On turf, growth reduction typically begins within 3–10 days and may reduce mowing for 6–8 weeks, with greening and density effects lasting up to 12 weeks. For trees and woody ornamentals, Tide Paclo 2SC can reduce annual shoot growth and extend trimming cycles when applied by basal drench, soil injection, or approved foliar spray methods.Features and Benefits

Application Notes
- For turf, apply in a minimum of 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft.; 2–5 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft. is recommended for best results.
- Water in within 24 hours after turf application to limit surface movement, but avoid runoff.
- Repeat turf applications may be made 8 weeks apart for growth regulation or 4–6 weeks apart for color and quality enhancement.
- Do not apply more than 4 quarts per acre per year on turf.
- For trees and shrubs, apply as labeled by basal drench or soil injection near the base of the plant.
- For shrub and vine foliar sprays, use a non-ionic surfactant for best results.
