Professional Turf & Ornamental Caterpillar Control
Provaunt Insecticide is a professional water-dispersible granular insecticide powered by indoxacarb for control of lepidopterous larvae and other listed pests in turfgrass and landscape ornamentals. It is designed for foliar or broadcast spray applications and provides reliable control of feeding larvae in golf courses, athletic fields, lawns, parks, landscapes, and ornamental plantings.
Where to Use Provaunt Insecticide
Use Provaunt on landscape and recreational turfgrass, including golf course greens, tees, fairways, roughs, athletic fields, parks, playgrounds, residential lawns, commercial landscapes, and other maintained turf areas. It may also be used on landscape ornamentals, trees, shrubs, foliage plants, flowers, interior plantscapes, and non-bearing fruit and nut trees.
Target Pests
- ✅ Armyworms, cutworms, and sod webworms
- ✅ Bagworms, fall webworms, tent caterpillars, and tussock moth caterpillars
- ✅ Yellownecked caterpillars and gypsy moth caterpillars
- ✅ European crane fly larvae
- ✅ Grasshoppers, mole crickets, and annual bluegrass weevil larvae where labeled
- ✅ European pine sawfly and potato leafhopper on ornamentals
Application Notes
Provaunt must be diluted with water before application. For turfgrass, apply as a broadcast spray using sufficient water for uniform coverage. Delay irrigation and mowing for 24 hours after application for best caterpillar control. Repeat applications may be made after a minimum of 7 days when needed. Do not exceed 24 oz. of product per acre per season in broadcast turf applications.
