Movento SC Insecticide
Movento SC Insecticide is a systemic insecticide powered by spirotetramat for control of listed insects on labeled tree, tropical fruit, vine, and vegetable crops. As a Group 23 insecticide, Movento offers a unique mode of action that is especially useful in integrated pest management and resistance-management programs.
Movento provides two-way movement within treated plants, moving both upward and downward through plant tissue to help reach hidden pests in dense canopies, new shoots, developing leaves, and root systems. A foliar application helps protect new plant growth, including young leaves that may not be fully present at the time of application.
Features & Benefits
✓ Two-way systemic movement through both phloem and xylem helps protect the entire plant
✓ Controls many labeled sucking pests including aphids, psyllids, whiteflies, scales, mealybugs, and selected mites
✓ Active primarily by ingestion against immature target pest life stages
✓ Helps protect new shoots, leaves, and root tissue after foliar uptake
✓ Long-lasting residual activity and protection of new plant growth
✓ Important fit for IPM programs when used according to label directions
✓ Suspension concentrate formulation for foliar applications in labeled agricultural crops
Labeled Use Sites
Movento is labeled for agricultural use on banana and plantain, brassica leafy vegetables, bulb vegetables, Christmas tree plantations, citrus fruits, coffee, fruiting vegetables, globe artichoke, hops, leafy vegetables except brassica, legume vegetables except dry soybean, pineapple, pome fruits, pomegranate, potatoes and other tuberous and corm vegetables, small fruit vine climbing crops except fuzzy kiwifruit, soybean, stone fruits, tree nuts, tropical fruits, and watercress.

Application Notes
Apply Movento according to the crop-specific directions on the product label. Foliar applications should be made early in the infestation as pest populations begin to develop or at early threshold. Use higher labeled rates when applying preventively, under moderate to heavy pest pressure, or when longer residual control is desired.
Movento must be tank mixed with a spray adjuvant or additive that has spreading and penetrating properties to maximize leaf uptake and systemic movement within the plant. Do not use binder or sticker-type adjuvants unless specifically recommended. Sufficient leaf tissue must be present for uptake and translocation, and systemicity may be reduced during cold temperatures, drought stress, or when plants are not actively growing.
