Tempo SC Ultra Insecticide is a professional suspension concentrate insecticide powered by 11.8% beta-cyfluthrin for fast knockdown and residual control of listed pests in and around structures, turf, ornamentals, landscapes, interior plantscapes, livestock housing structures, food/feed handling establishments, and commercial stored-product areas. This low-odor, non-staining formulation delivers the performance of beta-cyfluthrin in an easy-to-measure liquid concentrate.

Tempo SC Ultra controls a broad range of pests including ants, cockroaches, crickets, spiders, ticks, mosquitoes, flies, pantry pests, stored product pests, turf insects, and ornamental pests. It may be used as a general surface, spot, mist, crack-and-crevice, void, perimeter, turf, or ornamental application when used according to the label.

It is also labeled for use in and around buildings and structures, residential, commercial, and recreational turf, landscape ornamentals, interior plantscapes, outdoor perimeters, lawns, grounds, and ornamental plantings.

Target Pests

Tempo SC Ultra controls listed structural, perimeter, turf, ornamental, and stored-product pests including ants except Pharaoh and harvester ants, aphids, armyworms, bagworms, beetles, billbugs, black turfgrass ataenius adults, black vine weevil adults, boxelder bugs, carpenter ants, carpet beetles, caterpillars, chiggers, chinch bugs, cockroaches, crickets, cutworms, earwigs, firebrats, fleas, flies, fungus gnats, grasshoppers, hornets, Japanese beetle adults, lace bugs, leaf-feeding caterpillars, leafhoppers, leafrollers, mealybugs, millipedes, mole crickets, mosquitoes, moths, pillbugs, sciarid flies, silverfish, sod webworms, sowbugs, spider mites, spiders, spittlebugs, thrips, ticks, wasps, webworms, whiteflies, yellowjackets by direct spray only, and many other listed pests.

For commercial stored-product pest applications, Tempo SC Ultra is labeled for pests including cadelles, confused flour beetles, darkling beetles, dermestid beetles, drugstore beetles, flour beetles, grain mites, granary weevil, hide beetles, Indian meal moths, larder beetles, lesser grain borers, lesser mealworms, Mediterranean flour moths, merchant grain beetles, mealworms, red flour beetles, rice weevils, sawtoothed grain beetles, warehouse beetles, and related stored-product pests.

Application Notes

Shake Tempo SC Ultra well before measuring concentrate for dilution in water. Add the product while filling the spray tank with water, then shake or agitate the mixture. Diluted spray mixture can be stored overnight, but must be agitated before use. Apply as directed by the label using general surface, spot, mist, crack-and-crevice, void, perimeter, turf, or ornamental application methods.

For indoor pest applications, the label lists 8 ml, or 0.27 fl oz, per gallon of water for a 0.025% dilution and 16 ml, or 0.54 fl oz, per gallon of water for a 0.05% dilution. Use the higher rate for severe infestations and longer residual. For outdoor/perimeter applications, apply 8 to 16 ml per 1,000 sq ft. For turf pests, apply 4 to 8 ml per 1,000 sq ft, or 6 to 12 fl oz per acre. For ornamentals, apply 45 to 160 ml, or 1.5 to 5.4 fl oz, per 100 gallons of water.
