Contact Turf Fungicides

Contact turf fungicides remain mainly on treated surfaces and form a protective barrier against infection. They are dependable preventive tools when coverage is uniform, but they do not move into new growth or repair tissue that is already dead.

Choose the Right Product

Select a product labeled for the disease, turf species, and site. Pay close attention to spray volume, nozzle choice, rainfastness, mowing, and irrigation directions. Multisite contact fungicides can be valuable resistance-management partners when they are effective on the target disease.

Build a Better Program

Apply before infection or very early in disease development, cover the canopy evenly, and re-protect new growth at the label interval. Clipping removal, rainfall, irrigation, sunlight, and rapid growth can shorten the effective residue.
