Pantry Moths may infest dry foods, grain, animal feed, natural fibers, stored materials, or accumulated debris. Adults seen away from the source often indicate a concealed infestation.
Identify the Source
Inspect packages, shelving, cracks, spilled material, pet food, bird seed, and seldom-used storage areas. Look for larvae, webbing, cast skins, exit holes, or damaged products.
Reduce the Conditions Supporting the Pest
Discard infested material, vacuum cracks and shelves, rotate stock, clean spills, and store susceptible products in sealed containers. Sanitation and source removal are the foundation of control.
Choose the Right Control Product
Use pheromone monitors, traps, crack-and-crevice products, aerosols, or residual treatments only where the label permits. Never contaminate food, feed, or food-contact surfaces.
Confirm the target pest, use site, application method, and state restrictions on the current product label before use.
