Wasps and Hornets Control Products

Wasps and Hornets may nest in soil, trees, shrubs, wall voids, eaves, equipment, or other protected sites. Control methods depend on the species, nest location, and risk to people nearby.

Identify the Source

Observe flight paths from a safe distance and identify the nesting site. Do not disturb a nest when occupants, customers, or applicators could be exposed to stings.

Reduce the Conditions Supporting the Pest

Seal suitable openings after activity has ended, manage food and waste, and remove abandoned nesting material where appropriate.

Choose the Right Control Product

Select baits, dusts, aerosols, foams, or residual products labeled for the species and nest location. Difficult void nests or high-risk sites may require a professional.

Confirm the target pest, use site, application method, and state restrictions on the current product label before use.
