Sharda AmphiThal is a professional-use aquatic herbicide for control of submersed aquatic weeds in quiescent, slow-moving, and flowing water sites. Formulated with dipotassium salt of endothall, AmphiThal provides contact activity on labeled aquatic plants such as pondweed, hydrilla, milfoil, naiad, coontail, parrotfeather, sago pondweed, and water stargrass. AmphiThal may be applied as a surface spray or injected below the water surface, depending on the treatment site and application equipment. It can be used for whole pond/lake treatments, large-area treatments, spot treatments, shoreline/lake margin treatments, and flowing-water drip or metering applications according to label directions.

Application Notes

Apply when target aquatic plants are present. Rates vary by weed species, treatment area, water movement, depth, and application method. Do not treat more than 10% of a water body at one time where oxygen depletion from decaying vegetation may be a concern. Consult state or local agencies before applying to public waters, as permits may be required.
