Arica WG Insecticide
Arica WG Insecticide is a professional systemic insecticide powered by clothianidin for broad-spectrum control of listed insects in turfgrass, sod farms, landscape ornamentals, interior plantscapes, and non-bearing fruit and nut trees in landscape settings. As a Group 4A neonicotinoid insecticide, Arica WG provides long-lasting residual control of key surface-feeding and root-feeding pests.
Arica WG works as both a preventive and curative turf insecticide, helping control white grubs, chinch bugs, billbugs, annual bluegrass weevil larvae, sod webworms, cutworms, crane flies, nuisance ants, and other labeled turf pests. Arica WG is the generic equivalent of Arena 0.25G Insecticide.

Labeled Use Sites
Arica WG Insecticide is labeled for systemic insect control in turfgrass, sod farms, landscape ornamentals, interior plantscapes, and non-bearing fruit and nut trees in landscapes. Turfgrass use sites include industrial, commercial, and residential landscapes such as airports, athletic fields, cemeteries, commercial sod farms, golf courses, home lawns, parks, and playgrounds.
Target Pests
Arica WG controls turfgrass pests including annual bluegrass weevil larvae, billbugs, black turfgrass ataenius larvae, Phyllophaga species, spittlebugs, white grubs, Asiatic garden beetle, European chafer, green June beetle, Japanese beetle, northern masked chafer, oriental beetle, southern masked chafer, armyworms, chinch bugs, American crane fly, European crane fly, cutworms, nuisance ants, sod webworms, and mole crickets suppression.
In landscape ornamentals, interior plantscapes, and non-bearing fruit and nut trees in landscapes, Arica WG controls listed pests including adelgids, hemlock woolly adelgid, fungus gnat larvae, glassy-winged sharpshooter, lace bugs, azalea lace bug, leaf beetles, leafhoppers, leafminers, boxwood leafminer, serpentine leafminer, mealybugs, psyllids, Asian citrus psyllid, root weevils, black vine weevil, roundheaded borers, soft scales, thrips, whiteflies, and oriental beetle grubs.
Application Notes
Apply Arica WG according to the product label using calibrated application equipment. For turfgrass, broadcast Arica WG uniformly over the treatment area at labeled rates based on the target pest, pest stage, and desired level of control. Follow applications with sufficient irrigation or rainfall to move the active ingredient through the thatch and into the soil profile.
For preventive applications, apply through peak egg hatch of the target species. Use the upper end of the labeled rate range when application is made 60 days or more before peak adult flight or egg lay, or when treating after egg hatch or visible turf damage. Do not mow turfgrass until after irrigation or rainfall has occurred to allow uptake and distribution in soil and turfgrass.
