Valagro Axilo Mix 5 is a professional chelated micronutrient blend designed to correct and prevent multiple micronutrient deficiencies in turf, ornamentals, vegetables, fruit crops, nut crops, field crops, forage crops, and other labeled plants. This water-soluble dry micro-granule formula provides a broad mix of copper, iron, manganese, zinc, magnesium, boron, and molybdenum for foliar and soil/root applications.

Axilo Mix 5 is compatible with a wide range of fertilizers and pesticides, but a compatibility jar test should be performed before mixing, especially with phosphorus fertilizers. Because this product contains boron, it should not be applied near seeds or very young roots.

Target Deficiencies

Axilo Mix 5 is designed to correct and prevent micronutrient deficiencies involving magnesium, boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum, and zinc. These nutrients support important plant functions including chlorophyll production, enzyme activity, photosynthesis, nitrogen metabolism, root development, plant vigor, and overall crop and turf quality.

Application Notes

For foliar applications, Axilo Mix 5 may be mixed with glyphosate, other pesticides, and foliar fertilizers when compatibility is confirmed. Do not apply when the crop is under water stress; application after irrigation or rainfall is best. Do not apply to plants bearing mature fruit until it has been determined that the product will not damage or mark the fruit.

For soil applications, Axilo Mix 5 may be used with starter fertilizer, applied by surface sprayer and cultivated into the soil immediately after application, or mixed into a slurry and impregnated onto granular fertilizer. Use lower rates for maintenance applications, middle rates for medium deficiencies, and higher rates for more severe deficiencies. Always perform a compatibility jar test before tank mixing, especially with phosphorus fertilizers.
