Celsius WG Herbicide is a professional-grade postemergence herbicide designed specifically for warm-season turfgrass. Powered by three active ingredients and two complementary modes of action, Celsius provides broad-spectrum control of more than 120 troublesome weeds while maintaining excellent turf safety. It is especially effective against difficult weeds such as dollarweed, Virginia buttonweed, doveweed, and bull paspalum.
Celsius WG is formulated as an easy-to-mix water-dispersible granule that performs reliably even during high temperatures when many other herbicides risk damaging turf. This heat-tolerant formulation makes it an excellent choice for summer weed control programs in St. Augustinegrass, centipedegrass, bermudagrass, zoysiagrass, and buffalograss.
With reduced active ingredient load compared to many traditional postemergence herbicides, Celsius WG delivers powerful weed control while minimizing the risk of phytotoxicity. | APPLICATION | Apply as a postemergence treatment when weeds are actively growing. Typical application rate: 1.7 – 4.9 oz per acre depending on target weeds and turf type. Use a nonionic surfactant for improved performance on certain weeds. May require repeat applications for heavy infestations or perennial weeds. Avoid applications to cool-season turf species. Always follow the product label for exact mixing rates and site-specific instructions. |
