Change Up Premium Selective Herbicide is a professional three-way postemergence herbicide combining MCPA, fluroxypyr, and dicamba for broad-spectrum control of more than 200 labeled broadleaf weeds in established turf. With no 2,4-D in the formulation, Change Up provides an effective alternative for properties or professional programs where use of 2,4-D is a concern.

Designed for both cool- and warm-season turf, Change Up gives turf professionals the flexibility to treat across transition-zone properties without changing herbicides between turf types. Its systemic HRAC Group 4 auxin chemistry delivers a quick visual response and strong control of difficult weeds including clover, dandelion, plantain, chickweed, thistle, ground ivy, oxalis, spurge, and many other labeled broadleaf species.

Labeled Use Sites

Change Up is labeled for ornamental turf lawns in residential, institutional, industrial, and commercial settings; parks; cemeteries; athletic fields; golf courses; sod farms; roadsides; rights-of-way; and other similar non-crop areas. Golf-course use includes fairways, aprons, tees, and roughs, although bentgrass tees are specifically excluded. Labeled turfgrasses include Kentucky bluegrass, ryegrass, fescue, creeping bentgrass, common and hybrid bermudagrass, bahiagrass, carpetgrass, centipedegrass, zoysiagrass, and St. Augustinegrass.

Target Weeds

Change Up controls more than 200 labeled broadleaf weeds, including dandelion, black medic, chickweed, clover, plantain, oxalis, ground ivy, Florida betony, Florida pusley, henbit, knotweed, kochia, lambsquarters, morningglory, prostrate spurge, ragweed, thistle, speedwell, wild garlic, wild onion, wild geranium, Virginia buttonweed, poison ivy, poison oak, pigweed, purslane, smartweed, sowthistle, wild carrot, wild mustard, yarrow, woodsorrel, and many additional annual and perennial broadleaf weeds listed on the label.

Application Notes

For Kentucky bluegrass, ryegrass, and fescue, apply Change Up at 2 to 3 pints per acre. Creeping bentgrass uses 1.25 pints per acre. Common and hybrid bermudagrass, bahiagrass, carpetgrass, centipedegrass, and zoysiagrass use approximately 1.5 to 2.5 pints per acre, while St. Augustinegrass uses 1 pint per acre. Broadcast and spot-treatment applications are both permitted according to label directions.

Apply to actively growing broadleaf weeds for best results. Do not exceed 3 pints per acre per application, two broadcast applications per treatment site per year, or 6 pints per acre per year. Maintain at least 21 days between broadcast treatments. Avoid mowing for 1 to 2 days before and after application and wait 3 to 4 weeks before reseeding. Avoid broadcast applications above 90°F; on carpetgrass and St. Augustinegrass, limit applications to spot treatments when temperatures exceed 80°F.
