Daconil Action Flowable Fungicide combines the proven disease-fighting power of chlorothalonil with a unique Turf Protein Booster – acibenzolar-S-methyl – to deliver unmatched protection for professional turf management. Unlike standard fungicides, Daconil Action triggers the plant’s natural defenses by stimulating production of pathogenesis-related (PR) proteins, mimicking the Systemic Acquired Resistance (SAR) response found in most plant species.
This dual-action formula enhances control of diseases like dollar spot and anthracnose, while also suppressing new threats such as Pythium blight and bacterial wilt. With extended residual control of up to 28 days and improved tolerance to environmental stresses like drought, Daconil Action redefines fungicide performance through resistance induction—not just direct pathogen control.
Note: Not for use on home lawns or recreational turf sites near schools, playgrounds, or similar areas.
