Demon Max Insecticide is a professional broad-spectrum pest-control concentrate containing 25.3% cypermethrin for fast knockdown and residual control of numerous structural, lawn, landscape, and wood-infesting pests. Its versatile emulsifiable concentrate formulation may be used indoors for labeled spot and crack-and-crevice treatments and outdoors around structures, foundations, lawns, turf, vegetation, and other labeled areas.

As an IRAC Group 3 pyrethroid insecticide, Demon Max provides flexible pest-management options for ants, cockroaches, spiders, scorpions, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, crickets, silverfish, wasps, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, wood-infesting beetles, and many other labeled pests. Demon Max is also labeled for professional pre- and post-construction subterranean termite treatments and localized drywood termite applications according to label directions.

Labeled Use Sites

Demon Max is labeled for use in, on, and around buildings and structures including houses, apartment buildings, industrial buildings, laboratories, schools, nursing homes, hospitals in non-patient areas, hotels, restaurants in labeled non-food areas, warehouses, transport equipment, garages, storage sheds, barns, crawl spaces, basements, foundations, and other labeled structural sites. Outdoor uses include building exteriors, lawns, turfgrass, landscape vegetation, soil, fence lines, woody ornamentals, swimming-pool surroundings, and other labeled areas.

Target Pests

Demon Max controls labeled pests including ants, carpenter ants, fire ants, Asian cockroaches, cockroaches, boxelder bugs, carpenter bees, centipedes, chiggers, crickets, earwigs, elm leaf beetles, firebrats, fleas, flies, ground beetles, millipedes, mosquitoes, pillbugs, silverfish, sowbugs, bees, scorpions, spiders, ticks, wasps, mole crickets, chinch bugs, bark beetles, borers, and wood-infesting beetles. Termite uses include eastern subterranean, western subterranean, desert, Formosan subterranean, and localized drywood termites according to label directions.

Application Notes

For general structural pest control, Demon Max is commonly diluted to 0.1% or 0.2% active ingredient depending on target pest and treatment objective. A 0.1% dilution uses 1/2 fl oz of Demon Max per gallon of water, while a 0.2% dilution uses 1 fl oz per gallon. Apply indoors as labeled spot and crack-and-crevice treatments and outdoors to approved surfaces, soil, vegetation, and pest-entry areas while preventing runoff into drains or surface water.

For lawn applications targeting chinch bugs, mole crickets, fleas, and ticks, use 0.33 to 0.65 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft in sufficient water for uniform coverage. For subterranean termite control, prepare labeled 0.25% to 0.50% emulsions and follow the construction-specific soil-treatment rates and techniques. Termiticide applications may only be made by individuals or firms licensed or registered by the state to apply termiticide products.
