Denote 20% SG Systemic Insecticide
Denote 20% SG Systemic Insecticide is a professional dinotefuran insecticide for foliar and systemic control of difficult chewing and sucking pests in ornamental plants, turfgrass, nurseries, greenhouses, interior plantscapes, outdoor landscapes, forestry, and other labeled sites. Containing 20% dinotefuran, Denote provides broad-spectrum control of whiteflies, armored and soft scales, mealybugs, leafhoppers, leafminers, borers, Japanese beetles, and numerous other labeled pests.
Denote is a generic equivalent to Safari 20 SG and provides the same 20% dinotefuran formulation in an economical professional-use option. The active ingredient is absorbed through roots, foliage, or bark and moves upward through the plant, while foliar applications provide translaminar and locally systemic activity. Multiple application methods make Denote a versatile choice for professional ornamental and turf insect-management programs.

Application Notes
For foliar applications to outdoor or indoor ornamentals, apply 4 to 8 oz per 100 gal of water or 8 to 16 oz per acre and provide thorough foliage coverage. Soil drench and soil injection rates vary according to container size, shrub height, tree diameter, and application method. For large ornamental trees and shrubs, basal trunk sprays are applied at 12 to 24 oz per gal of water; Christmas trees and ornamental trees less than 3 inches in diameter at the soil line use 1.5 to 6 oz per gal. Turfgrass applications are made at 1 oz per 1,000 sq ft, with only one turf application permitted per calendar year.
Do not exceed 2.7 lb of product per acre per year for ornamental, landscape, forest, or turf uses where specified. Soil-applied Denote may provide control in as little as one day on small containerized herbaceous plants, while movement and control in large woody landscape trees can require several weeks. Do not apply by any method to linden, basswood, or other Tilia species. The agricultural restricted-entry interval is 12 hours, with the label-specified soil drench and soil-injection exception. Rotate Group 4A chemistry with effective insecticides from different IRAC groups and always follow the complete product label.
