Durentis Insecticide
Durentis Insecticide is a highly concentrated professional insecticide containing 47.85% chlorantraniliprole for foliar and systemic control of difficult turf and ornamental pests. Labeled uses include golf courses, residential and commercial lawns, sports and recreation turf, sod farms, landscaped areas, interior plantscapes, commercial nurseries, and greenhouses. Durentis provides excellent fit for professional programs targeting white grubs, annual bluegrass weevil, billbugs, armyworms, cutworms, sod webworms, European crane fly larvae, and other labeled chewing pests.
As an IRAC Group 28 anthranilic diamide insecticide, Durentis acts on insect ryanodine receptors. After susceptible insects ingest treated plant material, feeding stops rapidly, followed by paralysis and death generally within 1 to 3 days. Soil applications provide systemic root uptake and plant translocation, while foliar treatments provide locally systemic activity, giving turf and ornamental professionals flexible options for both below-ground and foliar pest management.
Features & Benefits
✓ Highly concentrated 47.85% chlorantraniliprole formulation containing 5 lb active ingredient per gallon
✓ Controls labeled white grubs, annual bluegrass weevil, billbugs, armyworms, cutworms, sod webworms, crane fly larvae, and other important pests

Ornamental uses include outdoor landscapes, interior plantscapes, retail and commercial nurseries, greenhouses, shade houses, lath houses, hoop houses, field-grown ornamentals, containerized plants, flowering plants, foliage plants, conifers, ornamental trees, shrubs, palms, groundcovers, ornamental grasses, succulents, and non-bearing fruit and nut trees and vines where labeled.
Target Pests
Durentis controls labeled annual bluegrass weevil, armyworms, bagworms, billbugs, birch leafminer, clearwing moth borer larvae, cutworms, European crane fly larvae, lace bugs, leaf-feeding caterpillars, two-lined spittlebugs, sod webworms, and white grubs including Asiatic garden beetle, black turfgrass ataenius, Japanese beetle, European masked chafer, northern masked chafer, southern masked chafer, Oriental beetle, green June beetle, and May or June beetles. Chinch bugs are labeled for suppression only.
Application Notes
Turf application rates vary by target pest. White grubs are treated at 0.062 to 0.123 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft, equivalent to 2.68 to 5.37 fl oz per acre. For best grub control, apply preventively just before peak activity while larvae are near the soil surface. The label recommends approximately 0.1 to 0.2 inch of irrigation to help move the active ingredient into the soil. White grub applications may be made from April through early September, with application before June suggested where appropriate for local pest timing.
Annual bluegrass weevil is treated at 0.093 to 0.153 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft, while armyworms, cutworms, and sod webworms use 0.016 to 0.031 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft. Do not exceed 6.68 fl oz per acre in a single turf application or 12.8 fl oz per acre per calendar year from all chlorantraniliprole-containing products. Applications must be made by ground equipment; aerial and irrigation-system applications are prohibited. Always read and follow the complete product label.
