Apply Malta 57EC according to the crop-specific or site-specific directions on the product label. For proper mixing, fill the spray tank at least three-quarters full with water before adding Malta 57EC, and maintain mechanical agitation or recirculation to keep the mixture properly dispersed.
Use the higher labeled rate when pest pressure is heavy. Do not apply when conditions favor drift or runoff, and do not apply when soil is saturated or when a storm event likely to produce runoff is forecast within 48 hours after application. Malta 57EC is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment or residues on blooming crops or weeds, so follow all pollinator restrictions, bloom restrictions, spray-drift requirements, buffer requirements, PHI, REI, retreatment intervals, and maximum annual application limits on the label.
