Micora Fungicide is a professional Group 40 fungicide containing 23.3% mandipropamid for preventive control of downy mildew and Phytophthora diseases in ornamental production and selected vegetable and basil transplant programs. It is labeled for greenhouse and outdoor-grown ornamentals, including plants produced in hoop houses, lath houses, shade structures, nurseries, forest nurseries, and other ornamental production systems.

Micora provides strong foliar protection against downy mildew and Phytophthora and may also be applied as a drench for Phytophthora root and stem disease management. Its short 4-hour restricted-entry interval helps support efficient greenhouse and nursery production schedules while its Group 40 chemistry provides a valuable rotational tool in resistance-management programs.

Labeled Use Sites

Micora is labeled for ornamentals grown in greenhouses, shade houses, lath houses, hoop houses, outdoor nurseries, forest nurseries, and other indoor or outdoor ornamental production structures. It may be used on container-, bench-, flat-, plug-, liner-, bed-, and field-grown ornamentals. The label also includes selected vegetable and basil transplants grown in enclosed greenhouses with permanent flooring for resale to consumers.

Target Diseases

Micora controls labeled downy mildew diseases caused by pathogens including Peronospora, Plasmopara, and Bremia species and controls Phytophthora diseases including Phytophthora ramorum on ornamentals. In selected vegetable-transplant uses it also controls labeled downy mildews and late blight and provides suppression of certain Phytophthora blight uses where specified.

Application Notes

For ornamental foliar applications, apply 4 to 8 fl oz of Micora per 100 gallons of water on a 7- to 14-day interval depending on disease pressure and conditions. Do not apply more than 8 fl oz per acre in a single foliar application and do not use less than 50 gallons of spray volume per acre. For field, shade-house, and unenclosed hoop-house or greenhouse uses without permanent flooring, do not exceed 32 fl oz per acre per calendar year.

For ornamental drench applications, prepare the solution according to the label and apply enough to thoroughly wet the root zone without leaching through the container. Do not make more than two drench applications per crop per season, and do not make more than one drench application before rotating to an effective non-Group 40 fungicide. For foliar programs, do not make more than two consecutive Micora applications before rotating to a non-Group 40 fungicide.
