Labeled Use Sites

Posterity Forte is labeled exclusively for turfgrass on golf courses, including all cultivars, varieties, and hybrids of golf-course turfgrass. It is intended for professional applicators and may be used throughout golf-course turf according to disease-specific label rates and restrictions. Posterity Forte is not labeled for residential lawns, general commercial lawns, athletic fields, sod farms, or greenhouse use.

Target Diseases

Posterity Forte controls labeled brown patch, dollar spot, large patch, leaf spot, spring dead spot, and zoysia patch. Dollar spot programs provide 21- to 28-day application intervals, while brown patch and leaf spot programs use 14- to 21-day intervals. Spring dead spot and zoysia patch applications are timed prior to turf dormancy according to label directions.

Application Notes

Rates vary by disease from 18.3 to 36.6 fl oz per acre. Dollar spot is treated at 18.3 to 36.6 fl oz per acre on a 21- to 28-day interval. Brown patch and leaf spot are treated at 27.4 to 36.6 fl oz per acre on 14- to 21-day intervals. Large patch and zoysia patch are treated at 36.6 fl oz per acre, while spring dead spot is treated at 27.4 to 36.6 fl oz per acre.

For spring dead spot, make one or two applications 14 to 28 days apart, with the final application approximately one month before bermudagrass dormancy; 1/4 to 1/2 inch of irrigation directly after application is recommended. Do not make more than three sequential Posterity Forte applications. Do not exceed 36.6 fl oz per acre in a single application or 73.2 fl oz per acre per year. Allow sprays to dry before irrigation except where disease-specific directions call for immediate watering.
