Postiva Fungicide

Postiva Fungicide is a broad-spectrum ornamental fungicide powered by ADEPIDYN technology and difenoconazole for reliable control of difficult foliar, stem, flower, and soilborne diseases. With two active ingredients from FRAC Groups 7 and 3, Postiva combines pydiflumetofen, a next-generation SDHI fungicide, with difenoconazole, a DMI fungicide, to provide strong protection and resistance-management value in professional ornamental programs.

Postiva is labeled for ornamental plants, ornamental bulbs, conifers, Christmas trees, non-bearing fruit and nut trees, and listed vegetable plants grown for retail sale to consumers. It may be applied by foliar spray, drench, chemigation, aerial application where allowed, or automatic cold fogging in greenhouses, giving growers and landscape professionals flexible application options for broad-spectrum disease management.

Features & Benefits

Dual-mode-of-action fungicide combines FRAC Group 7 pydiflumetofen and FRAC Group 3 difenoconazole for broader disease-control coverage

Powered by ADEPIDYN technology, the first member of a new SDHI subclass designed for strong activity and long residual performance

Rapid absorption into plant tissue helps create a rainfast barrier of protection against infection and disease progression

Controls difficult ornamental diseases including Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia, Botrytis, powdery mildew, black spot, rusts, leaf spots, and boxwood blight

Suppresses bacterial diseases including Pseudomonas spp., Xanthomonas spp., and Ralstonia spp. where listed on the label

Flexible application methods include foliar spray, container drench, chemigation, aerial application on labeled nursery crops, and automatic cold fogging in greenhouses

Excellent rotation partner for ornamental disease programs that need broader-spectrum protection and resistance-management diversity

Labeled Use Sites

Postiva Fungicide is labeled for use on ornamental plants, ornamental bulb, corm, and tuber crops, conifers, Christmas trees, non-bearing fruit and nut trees, non-bearing vines, and listed vegetable plants grown for retail sale to consumers. Use sites include greenhouses, nurseries, shade houses, lath houses, outdoor growing structures, evergreen and deciduous tree nurseries, Christmas tree farms, residential and commercial landscapes, parks, and interior plantscapes.

Target Diseases

Postiva controls listed foliar and stem diseases including Alternaria species, black spot, anthracnose leaf spot and flower blight, Ascochyta leaf spot and flower blight, Botrytis blight and gray mold, boxwood blight, leaf blotch, leaf spot diseases, powdery mildews, rusts, scab, Septoria species, Stemphylium species, Wilsonomyces species, and stem rot caused by Phoma species.

For container drench applications in ornamentals, Postiva controls root diseases including Fusarium species, Rhizoctonia species, and Sclerotinia species. It also provides suppression of bacterial diseases including Pseudomonas species, Xanthomonas species, and Ralstonia species where listed on the label. In listed vegetable plants grown for retail sale, Postiva controls or suppresses labeled diseases such as Alternaria leaf blight, Cercospora leaf spot, gummy stem blight, powdery mildew, Plectosporium blight, Phoma blight, Phyllosticta leaf spot, scab, Septoria leaf blight, target spot, early blight, gray leaf spot, leaf mold, anthracnose suppression, gray mold suppression, and white mold suppression.

Application Notes

Apply Postiva preventively or at the first sign of disease for best results. For ornamental foliar diseases, stem blights, and container drench uses, the label lists 10 to 28 fl oz per 100 gallons, with reapplication on a 7 to 14-day interval when conditions favor disease development. Use higher rates and shorter intervals under severe disease pressure or when conditions are favorable for disease development.

Thorough, uniform coverage is necessary for good disease control. Postiva may be applied as a foliar spray, container drench, chemigation application, aerial application where allowed, or automatic cold fogger greenhouse application according to label directions. For resistance management, do not make more than two applications of Postiva or other Group 3 and Group 7 fungicides before rotating to a fungicide that is not in Group 3 or Group 7.
