Rejuvra Herbicide

Rejuvra Herbicide is a professional preemergence restoration herbicide powered by indaziflam for long-term control of invasive annual grasses and many broadleaf weeds in rangeland, CRP land, natural areas, wildlife management areas, recreational areas, fire rehabilitation areas, prairies, fire breaks, parks, and open space. By preventing seedling emergence, Rejuvra helps manage the soil seed bank and reduce reinfestation from invasive annual grasses.

Rejuvra is a unique Group 29 cellulose biosynthesis inhibitor that controls problem annual grasses such as cheatgrass, downy brome, medusahead, ventenata, red brome, Japanese brome, jointed goatgrass, bulbous bluegrass, and other labeled species. Its long residual activity helps release desirable perennial vegetation by reducing competition for water, nutrients, light, and space.

Features & Benefits

Long-residual preemergence control helps reduce invasive annual grass pressure and deplete the weed seed bank over time

Contains indaziflam, a Group 29 herbicide with a unique mode of action for rangeland and restoration programs

Controls key invasive annual grasses including cheatgrass, downy brome, medusahead, ventenata, red brome, Japanese brome, and jointed goatgrass

Helps release desirable perennial grasses, forbs, shrubs, and trees by reducing annual weed competition

Useful for rangeland, CRP, natural areas, wildlife management areas, fire rehabilitation areas, prairies, fire breaks, parks, and open space

Can be applied by ground or aerial equipment, with labeled use on grazed areas and areas cut for grass hay when restrictions are followed

Can be tank mixed with appropriate postemergence herbicides when target weeds have already germinated

Labeled Use Sites

Rejuvra Herbicide is labeled for the restoration and protection of rangeland, Conservation Reserve Program land, natural areas, parks, open space, wildlife management areas, recreational areas, fire rehabilitation areas, prairies, fire breaks, and these sites when grazed or cut for grass hay. Rejuvra may also be applied to areas that have trees present or will be planted to trees.

Target Weeds

Rejuvra controls or suppresses many annual grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds including cheatgrass, downy brome, annual bromegrass, cheat, Japanese brome, foxtail brome, red brome, medusahead, ventenata, jointed goatgrass, bulbous bluegrass, annual bluegrass, barnyardgrass, crabgrass, large crabgrass, smooth crabgrass, goosegrass, foxtail, Italian ryegrass, perennial ryegrass, sandbur, annual sedge, sprangletop, tufted lovegrass, rice flatsedge, mouse barley, Mediterranean grass, guineagrass, and feral rye suppression.

Broadleaf weeds controlled or suppressed include halogeton, kochia, horseweed, marestail, common lambsquarters, Russian thistle, puncturevine, common purslane, prostrate pigweed, redroot pigweed, prostrate spurge, common ragweed, shepherd’s purse, annual sowthistle, yellow starthistle, wild mustard, dandelion from seed, curly dock from seed, Canada thistle from seed, common mullein from seed, Dalmatian toadflax from seed, wild buckwheat from seed, black medic suppression, prickly lettuce suppression, wild carrot suppression, woodsorrel suppression, and other listed weeds.

Application Notes

Apply Rejuvra before target weed germination for best preemergence control. Rejuvra has minimal postemergence activity and generally does not control weeds that have already emerged, so a labeled postemergence tank-mix partner may be needed when weeds are present at application. Uniform soil coverage is essential because skips, streaking, uneven spray patterns, or low rates between swaths can result in annual grass escapes.

Moisture is required for activation. For maximum activity against germinating weeds, Rejuvra requires approximately 0.25 to 0.5 inches of rainfall or equivalent moisture from snowfall within several weeks after application. Use a minimum spray volume of 10 gallons per acre for ground applications and 5 gallons per acre for aerial applications. Follow all label directions for rates, grazing and hay restrictions, plant-back intervals, drift management, tank mixing, and site-specific precautions.
