It may be applied by ground equipment using diluted or concentrated sprays, with sufficient spray volume to obtain complete and uniform coverage of plant leaf surfaces.

Application Notes

Apply Sanmite SC when mites first appear and before a threshold of five spider mites per leaf is reached. Use sufficient water volume to obtain complete and uniform coverage of all plant leaf surfaces. Thorough coverage is required for optimum control, and spraying alternate rows may reduce performance.

For ornamental and foliage plants grown in greenhouses and outdoors, the label lists 6.4 to 9.6 ounces per acre, or 0.15 to 0.22 ounce per 1,000 square feet. Use higher rates for whiteflies. Do not use Sanmite SC in successive miticide applications; rotate with products that have different modes of action for resistance management.
