Spirato GHN Fungicide

Spirato GHN Fungicide is a professional broad-spectrum fungicide containing 40.3% fludioxonil for management of important foliar, stem, crown, and root diseases in greenhouse, nursery, landscape, and ornamental production. Its low-use, water-based formulation provides dependable FRAC Group 12 disease control while helping growers manage Botrytis, Rhizoctonia, Thielaviopsis, Fusarium, Cylindrocladium, and other damaging plant pathogens.

Designed for use throughout crop production, Spirato GHN supports foliar spray, soil drench, and growing-media treatment programs. Nufarm positions the formulation as gentle on plant leaves and blooms with reduced phytotoxicity potential, including late-season spray use on poinsettia bracts, while its distinct Group 12 chemistry makes it a valuable component of resistance-management rotations.

Nufarm also identifies uses across more than 45 ornamental crops and more than 85 labeled edible crops, including examples such as basil, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, chive, cucumber, kale, melon, pepper, rosemary, spinach, squash, and tomato. Always follow crop-specific label directions, rates, and restrictions.

Target Diseases

Spirato GHN controls labeled diseases including aerial blight caused by Rhizoctonia species, Alternaria leaf spot and blight, Botrytis blight, black root rot caused by Thielaviopsis species, Cercospora leaf spot, Cylindrocladium stem and root rot, Fusarium stem and root rot, Rhizoctonia stem and root rot, Septoria leaf spot, and southern blight caused by Sclerotium rolfsii.

Application Notes

For foliar control of Rhizoctonia, Alternaria, Septoria, Myrothecium, and Cercospora diseases, use 1 to 2 fl oz per 100 gallons of water and spray to runoff at 7- to 14-day intervals. For Botrytis, use 2 to 4 fl oz per 100 gallons at 7- to 14-day intervals. Under severe disease pressure, use the higher labeled rate and shorter application interval. For Botrytis resistance management, do not make more than two consecutive applications before rotating to an effective fungicide with a different mode of action.

For growing-medium drenches at seeding, use 1 fl oz per 100 gallons. For transplants and cuttings, use 1 to 2 fl oz per 100 gallons and retreat at 21- to 28-day intervals if needed. Spirato GHN may also be incorporated into potting media at 1 to 2 fl oz per cubic yard before seeding or transplanting. If Pythium or Phytophthora is also suspected, Nufarm recommends tank mixing with an appropriately labeled fungicide effective against those pathogens.
