SureGuard EZ Herbicide
SureGuard EZ Herbicide is a professional liquid herbicide containing 41.4% flumioxazin for broad-spectrum preemergence and early postemergence control of labeled grassy and broadleaf weeds. Its HRAC Group 14 PPO-inhibiting chemistry provides fast contact activity plus residual soil control for use in bare ground, landscapes, nurseries, ornamental tree production, dormant Bermudagrass, and labeled aquatic sites.
SureGuard EZ features a reduced-foaming liquid formulation that mixes more easily with tank partners and cleans from spray equipment more readily than traditional suspension formulations. It provides residual weed control for up to four months in certain landscape and golf-course applications and controls small emerged weeds when applied to actively growing plants under two inches tall with the proper adjuvant.

Application Notes
For many terrestrial bare-ground, landscape, nursery, and dormant Bermudagrass applications, SureGuard EZ is used at 8 to 12 fl oz per acre. Preemergence applications should be made before weed emergence, with moisture needed to activate the herbicide in the soil. For postemergence control, treat actively growing weeds less than 2 inches tall and use an approved adjuvant to maximize contact activity.
For dormant Bermudagrass, apply only to semi-dormant or completely dormant turf. Do not apply to actively growing warm- or cool-season turf or during green-up. For aquatic surface treatments, labeled rates are 6 to 12 fl oz per surface acre plus an aquatic-approved adjuvant. Subsurface aquatic rates are based on water depth and a target concentration of 200 to 400 ppb.
For terrestrial postemergence use, a nonionic surfactant containing at least 80% active ingredient or an appropriate crop oil concentrate may be used where directed. Aquatic applications require an adjuvant approved for aquatic use. Certain conifer and poplar release treatments specifically prohibit adjuvants or fertilizers, so the use-site directions must be followed closely.
