Surmise SpeedPro XT Non-Selective Herbicide

Surmise SpeedPro XT is a professional non-selective herbicide combining three active ingredients and three modes of action for rapid knockdown, systemic weed control, and extended residual activity. The formulation combines glufosinate for broad-spectrum control, pelargonic acid for enhanced speed, and imazethapyr for long-lasting residual control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, grasses, sedges, and labeled woody brush.

Designed as an effective alternative to glyphosate-based vegetation-management programs, Surmise SpeedPro XT is ideal for driveways, parking areas, sidewalks, gravel paths, fence rows, rights-of-way, industrial sites, hardscapes, and other labeled non-crop areas. Albaugh supports residual control for at least three months, helping control existing vegetation while reducing new weed emergence in areas where vegetation is not desired.

Application Notes

Apply to actively growing weeds when foliage is dry. For spot or directed applications, use a 2.5% solution for weeds less than 6 inches tall and pre-tiller grasses, equivalent to approximately 3.2 fl oz per gallon of water. For weeds greater than 6 inches tall or grasses that have tillered, the label specifies a 5% solution, approximately 6.4 fl oz per gallon. Spray foliage thoroughly but stop before runoff.

Broadcast applications use at least 20 gallons of water per acre for adequate coverage. The current label lists 18.75 fl oz per acre for weeds less than 6 inches tall and pre-tiller grasses. Higher rates are used for larger or tillered weeds, subject to the maximum single-application rate stated on the product label. Do not apply to wet foliage or when rainfall is expected within two hours. A minimum 14-day retreatment interval applies. Avoid application to desirable vegetation and do not use in areas intended to be planted or seeded within three months.
