Tourney EZ Fungicide
Tourney EZ Fungicide is a professional broad-spectrum systemic fungicide containing 42.5% metconazole for control of difficult cool- and warm-season turfgrass diseases. Labeled for golf courses, residential and commercial lawns, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields, sod farms, and other managed turf, Tourney EZ controls major diseases including anthracnose, brown patch, dollar spot, fairy ring, gray leaf spot, summer patch, take-all patch, necrotic ring spot, snow mold, and other labeled patch diseases.
As a FRAC Group 3 triazole fungicide, Tourney EZ inhibits sterol biosynthesis and is rapidly absorbed into plant tissue with upward systemic movement. Its low-use-rate suspension concentrate formulation makes it a versatile DMI for preventive and early curative programs, including spring root-disease prevention, in-season disease management, and fall applications targeting crown, foliar, and snow mold diseases.

Labeled Use Sites
Tourney EZ is labeled for disease control in turfgrass on golf courses, residential and commercial lawns, landscape areas around institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields, and sod farms. Tolerant turfgrass species listed on the label include annual bluegrass, bentgrass, bermudagrass, centipedegrass, fescues, Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, St. Augustinegrass, seashore paspalum, and zoysiagrass. Tourney EZ is also labeled for ornamental plants in commercial indoor and outdoor nurseries, greenhouses, and landscaped areas; ornamental uses are not registered in California.
Target Diseases
Tourney EZ controls labeled anthracnose, brown patch, dollar spot, fairy ring, gray leaf spot, necrotic ring spot, red thread, Rhizoctonia large patch, rust diseases, summer patch, take-all patch, Waitea patch or brown ring patch, zoysia patch, pink snow mold or Microdochium patch, gray snow mold, and yellow patch. Ornamental uses additionally include anthracnose, Botrytis, blossom and brown rot, boxwood blight, conifer blights, damping-off, stem and root rots, Fusarium root rot, leaf spots, powdery mildew, rusts, scab, shot hole, white mold, and other labeled diseases.
Application Notes
Turfgrass rates range from 8 to 19.2 fl oz per acre depending on the target disease. Dollar spot is treated at 8 to 16 fl oz per acre; brown patch at 12 to 16 fl oz per acre; anthracnose, gray leaf spot, necrotic ring spot, red thread, large patch, rusts, summer patch, take-all patch, brown ring patch and zoysia patch at 16 fl oz per acre; fairy ring at 16 fl oz per acre; and snow mold applications at 16 to 19.2 fl oz per acre in late fall. Most turf applications use 14- to 21-day intervals, while fairy ring uses a 21-day interval.
Tourney EZ performs best preventively or early in disease development. Manufacturer program guidance recommends early spring applications for root-infecting patch diseases when soil temperatures reach approximately 55-65°F at a 2-inch depth, followed by another application approximately 21-28 days later. For foliar diseases, allow treated turf to dry before irrigation; root and crown disease treatments may be watered in. Do not exceed 19.2 fl oz per acre in a single application, 1/2 gallon per acre per year, or eight turf applications per year. Do not apply directly to bermudagrass greens. Always read and follow the complete product label.
