Traction Fungicide
Traction Fungicide is a professional golf-course turf fungicide combining 17.0% fluazinam with 17.6% tebuconazole for broad-spectrum disease management. Its proprietary FRAC Group 29 + Group 3 premix combines multi-site contact activity with systemic DMI chemistry to control difficult turf diseases while strengthening resistance-management programs.
Designed for cool- and warm-season golf turf, Traction controls 19 labeled diseases including dollar spot, anthracnose, brown patch, large patch, Waitea patch, gray leaf spot, and snow molds while also suppressing algal scum. Nufarm positions Traction as an excellent summer fungicide that supports high-quality, dark green turf across greens, tees, fairways, aprons, and roughs.

Labeled Use Sites
Traction is labeled exclusively for golf-course turf. It may be used on cool- and warm-season golf turf including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other labeled golf-course areas. Nufarm also specifically identifies aprons among its professional golf uses. Traction is not labeled for home lawns, residential turf, or sod farms.
Target Diseases
Traction controls labeled anthracnose, brown blight, brown patch, brown ring patch or Waitea patch, copper spot, dollar spot, Fusarium patch, gray leaf spot, gray snow mold, large patch, leaf spot and melting-out, pink patch, pink snow mold, powdery mildew, red thread, stem rust, stripe smut, and zoysia patch. Traction also suppresses algal scum caused by filamentous blue-green algae or cyanobacteria.
Application Notes
For most labeled turf diseases, apply Traction at 1.3 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft. Dollar spot, brown patch, anthracnose, large patch, leaf spot, powdery mildew, red thread, and related diseases generally use a 14-day application interval. Brown ring patch, Fusarium patch, and gray leaf spot generally use a 21-day interval, while stripe smut is labeled as a single application. Gray and pink snow mold programs use one to two late-fall applications before snow cover.
Apply in a minimum of 40 gallons and up to 132 gallons of water per acre to obtain thorough, uniform turf coverage. Use Traction as part of a preventive disease-management program and avoid more than two consecutive applications of Traction or other Group 3 DMI-containing fungicides. Do not apply through irrigation systems or by air.
