Triple Crown Golf Insecticide
Triple Crown Golf is a professional Restricted Use Insecticide combining zeta-cypermethrin, bifenthrin, and imidacloprid for fast knockdown, long-lasting residual control, and activity against both above- and below-ground turf pests. Its complementary IRAC Group 3A pyrethroid and Group 4A neonicotinoid modes of action provide contact, translaminar, and systemic activity for broad-spectrum insect management.
Designed specifically for professional golf and sod-production programs, Triple Crown Golf controls difficult pests including annual bluegrass weevil adults and larvae, billbugs, white grubs, chinch bugs, mole crickets, fire ants, ticks, mites, armyworms, cutworms, sod webworms, and many other labeled pests. The advanced suspo-emulsion formulation combines rapid pyrethroid activity with systemic imidacloprid performance to reduce the need for multiple separate insecticide applications.

Target Pests
Turf & Golf Course Pests: armyworms, cutworms, sod webworms, Banks grass mite, adult black turfgrass ataenius, centipedes, crickets, earwigs, adult fleas, grasshoppers, leafhoppers, mealybugs, millipedes, mites, pillbugs, sowbugs, ants, adult black vine weevils, chinch bugs, crane flies, adult European masked chafers, flea larvae, frit flies, adult Green June beetles, adult May or June beetles, imported fire ants, adult Japanese beetles, adult Northern and Southern masked chafers, adult and nymph mole crickets, root weevils, stink bugs, and ticks.
Annual Bluegrass Weevil & Billbugs: annual bluegrass weevil adults and larvae and billbug adults and larvae are specifically labeled. Adult ABW applications should be timed as adults leave overwintering sites, while larval applications are generally made from May through June with rainfall or irrigation used to move active ingredients through the thatch layer.
White Grubs: Japanese beetle grubs, European masked chafer grubs, Northern masked chafer grubs, Southern masked chafer grubs, Green June beetle grubs, and May/June beetle grubs including Phyllophaga species.
Ornamental Pests: ants, beet armyworms, adult black vine weevils, broad mites, budworms, scale crawlers, citrus thrips, clover mites, adult Diaprepes, European red mites, flea beetles, adult fungus gnats, grasshoppers, imported fire ants, leafrollers, mites, mosquitoes, orchid weevils, pine needle scale crawlers, plant bugs, root weevils, San Jose scale crawlers, spider mites, thrips, tip moths, twig borers, wasps, bagworms, fall webworms, leaf-feeding caterpillars, cutworms, gypsy moth caterpillars, tent caterpillars, adelgids, aphids, Japanese beetles, lace bugs, elm and viburnum leaf beetles, leafhoppers including glassy-winged sharpshooter, mealybugs, psyllids, sawfly larvae, treehoppers, whiteflies, and thrips suppression.
Application Notes
Turf rates generally range from 0.23 to 0.80 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft, equivalent to approximately 10 to 35 fl oz per acre, depending on the target pest. Annual bluegrass weevil and billbug programs use 0.57 to 0.80 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft, while labeled white grub treatments use 0.80 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft, equivalent to 35 fl oz per acre. Do not exceed 50 fl oz per acre per year or 0.50 lb imidacloprid active ingredient per acre per year.
For low-volume applications using less than 2 gallons per 1,000 sq ft, irrigate with at least 0.25 inch of water immediately after treatment when targeting subsurface pests. White grub applications should be followed by rainfall or irrigation to move active ingredients through the thatch, with preventive timing just before peak grub activity providing the best results. Mole cricket treatments may be watered in with up to 0.5 inch immediately after application. For eriophyid mite programs, use a compatible labeled surfactant. Do not apply by air or through irrigation systems.
