Palladium Fungicide

Palladium Fungicide is a professional broad-spectrum fungicide containing 37.5% cyprodinil and 25% fludioxonil for control of foliar and stem diseases on ornamental flowers and plants, conifers, Christmas trees, and other labeled ornamental crops. Its dual-active formulation combines systemic and contact activity for control of Botrytis, Alternaria, Cercospora, Rhizoctonia, Myrothecium, Sclerotinia, powdery mildew, and other labeled diseases in greenhouse, nursery, landscape, and ornamental production programs.

Palladium combines FRAC Group 9 anilinopyrimidine chemistry with FRAC Group 12 phenylpyrrole chemistry to provide two complementary modes of action in a single water-dispersible granule formulation. Preventive applications are recommended, making Palladium a strong rotational and resistance-management option for professional ornamental disease programs.

Features & Benefits

Dual-active fungicide combines cyprodinil and fludioxonil for broad-spectrum foliar and stem disease control

Provides both systemic and contact fungicidal activity for complementary disease protection

Controls Botrytis, Alternaria, Cercospora, Rhizoctonia, Myrothecium, Sclerotinia, powdery mildew, and other labeled diseases

FRAC Groups 9 and 12 provide two distinct modes of action for resistance-management programs

Effective at labeled rates from 2 to 6 oz per 100 gal depending on target disease

Water-dispersible granule formulation is convenient for professional mixing and application

Compatible with many commonly used fungicides, fertilizers, growth regulators, insecticides, and biological products when tank-mix compatibility is confirmed

Labeled Use Sites

Palladium is labeled for ornamental flowers and plants, ornamental bulb, corm and tuber crops, conifers, and Christmas trees grown in greenhouses, nurseries, field and container production, shade houses, lath houses, conifer and forest nurseries, forestry production and plantations, retail nurseries, interiorscapes, and commercial landscapes. It is also labeled for ornamentals on golf courses and landscaped areas around institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, and athletic fields. Palladium is not labeled for residential ornamental flowers and plants.

Target Diseases

Palladium controls labeled Alternaria leaf blight, anthracnose leaf spot, Botrytis blight and gray mold, Cercospora leaf spot, Cylindrocladium stem rot, Fusarium blight and stem rot, Myrothecium leaf spot and blight, Phoma basal rot, Phomopsis dieback, Rhizoctonia aerial blight, Sclerotinia blight and stem rot, Septoria leaf spot, Southern blight caused by Sclerotium rolfsii, powdery mildew, scorch, and other diseases listed on the product label.

Application Notes

Apply Palladium as a foliar and stem treatment at 2 to 6 oz per 100 gal of water depending on the target disease. Begin applications prior to or at disease onset and repeat at 7- to 14-day intervals when conditions remain favorable for disease development. Powdery mildew and scorch treatments should be made preventively. Thorough coverage is essential, and stem disease applications should reach stems and interior plant areas down to the soil or media level.

After two Palladium applications, alternate with a fungicide having a different mode of action for two applications. Do not exceed 6 oz per 100 gal in a single application or 56 oz per acre per year for outdoor uses; greenhouse, lath-house, and shade-house uses are limited to 56 oz per acre per crop. Outdoor applications must maintain the labeled 75-ft buffer from specified bodies of water. The agricultural restricted-entry interval is 12 hours. Always read and follow the complete product label.
